Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office began a pursuit on Highway 285 with a vehicle stolen out of Orlando in the early morning hours Thursday. The car fled onto Interstate 10 and into Walton County and deputies from Walton County Sheriff’s Office followed the vehicle to the Bonifay exit where Bonifay Police Department deployed spikes strips to stop the vehicle.

The strips were successful and three suspects were placed into custody just after 4am. Found inside the vehicle were black ski masks and burglary tools. The vehicle was towed from the scene and brought to the Walton County Sheriff’s Office.

WCSO would like to thank Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office, Bonifay Police Department, and Holmes County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance. More information will be released as it becomes available.
