DEFUNIAK SPRINGS — A 44-year-old man was arrested after intentionally ramming his car into the back of another man’s motorcycle.

According to an arrest report from the Walton County Sheriff’s Office, on the night of Oct. 17 the man parked his car near the home of a woman with whom he was “familiar,” according to the report. Sometime later, the woman arrived at the home on the back of a motorcycle driven by another man and got off the motorcycle as it was being parked.

The first man then “aggressively” drove his vehicle into the woman’s yard, struck the motorcycle as it was being parked, reversed and left the area.

The man driving the motorcycle was injured and his motorcycle suffered more than $1,000 in damage.

The defendant was arrested and charged with aggravated battery and criminal mischief of $1,000 or more, both felonies.
