XoXo: The Boy Who Lived…

Today marks an important historic milestone.

On November 16th 2001, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone opened in theaters across the United States and our muggle lives changed forever. It’s hard to explain why so many of us hold such a deep connection to this franchise. I happened to be about the same age as the characters when the first movie debuted. As I aged, so did they. As I struggled with growing up, so did they. All the while, believing in a little bit of magic always seemed to push us through our challenges. Looking back at the first film now, I have to laugh not only at what children the actors were but what children we were as well.

And now, here I am.

A grown woman.

Still waiting for her letter from Hogwarts.

Always.

XoXo,

Mary Jo
