Poppi D’s Florida Grill & Pies Opens in Eastpoint

Spread the love

The Forgotten Coast just got a little more delicious with the opening of Poppi D’s Florida Grill & Pies in the fast-growing town of Eastpoint. Located in the former “Pesky Pelican” restaurant on Highway 98 across from the bay, Poppi D’s Florida Grill & Pies is known for three things – made from scratch pizza, mouthwatering handcrafted burgers, and homemade pies and cinnamon rolls.

Opened by the team that created the popular but now closed Sopchoppy Pizza Company in Sopchoppy, FL, the owners have created a warm and welcoming environment for families and friends to enjoy great food, live local music and a community atmosphere. The restaurant offers casual interior seating along with a spacious covered outdoor pavilion, all overlooking the beautiful Apalachicola Bay.

“Our mission at Poppi D’s, is to provide excellent food & drinks in a fun and exciting, family-like atmosphere. Our goal is to provide our customers with a great dining experience. We are here to share our love for food, music and community with everyone that walks through our doors. We want everyone to feel the love that we feel for this business and the opportunity to provide a service to our community.” – Poppi D’s Florida Grill & Pies.

The cooking style is an eclectic mix of traditional Southern to modern cuisine. Everything is made from scratch with the pizza crust even featuring Sopchoppy Tupelo honey. Poppi D’s sources products from local organic farms whenever possible and offers a wide range of menu items including sandwiches, salads, and appetizers. A carefully curated selection of beer and wine are available to please both beer and wine aficionados, and live music is offered regularly from local artists. A welcome addition to the area, be sure to check out Poppi D’s on your next visit!
