The Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation (MKAF) Concerts in the Village series is back with an outstanding line-up for the 2021 Spring Season. Named by the Florida Travel Guide as one of the “Top Ten Things to Do” in Northwest Florida, the Foundation offers 15 annual concerts throughout the year in a spring, summer, and fall series with varying genres of music ideal for all ages and families.
These events are free for MFAF members or ticket pricing varies by event and is always affordable in keeping with MKAF’s mission to make cultural arts accessible for all in Northwest Florida. Tickets can be purchased on-site (no advanced purchasing).
Gates open at 6 PM with concerts beginning at 7 PM for this casual and light-hearted outdoor concert series. Bring a lawn chair, picnic, and wine, or purchase food and beverages on-site prepared by featured restaurants and food trucks. New for this year is a partnership between MKAF and Sinfonia Gulf Coast, the Emerald Coast’s only fully professional symphony orchestra.
“It is truly exciting to embark upon the 26th year of Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation’s concert series. This year’s lineup has something for everyone, and I can’t think of a better way to celebrate the arts than with great music and friends,” stated MKAF CEO Demetrius Fuller. “Revenue generated from these events enables us to provide the highest quality of arts education and outreach to Okaloosa and Walton Counties.”
