April brought a continued trend of steady and consistent sales for the Destin and Miramar Beach real estate markets with 298 properties closed and 270 new contracts recorded for homes and condos combined. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Beach Properties of Florida recorded nearly $134 million in sales volume across Walton and Okaloosa counties.

A five bedroom bay view estate in Waterford in Kelly Plantation was the highest priced property to sell during April in Destin at $4.395 million while the highest priced property to close in Miramar Beach was a seven bedroom bay front property in the Burnt Pine neighborhood of the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort at $3.25 million.


The highest priced condo sold in Destin was a three bedroom gulf front residence in St. Thomas at Silver Shells with views of Henderson Beach State Park at $1.375 million. A five bedroom gulf view penthouse in One Beach Club Drive in the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort was the highest priced condo to sell in Miramar Beach at $2.412 million.
