The Destin and Miramar Beach real estate markets remained very active during June with 292 properties closed and 212 new contracts recorded for homes and condos combined. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Beach Properties of Florida recorded over $143 million in sales volume across Walton and Okaloosa counties.
A bay front, nine bedroom estate in Kelly Plantation was the highest priced property to sell during in Destin at $4.04 million while the highest priced property to close in Miramar Beach was a new construction, gulf front home with 10 bedrooms and a private swimming pool for 7.25 million.
The highest priced condo sold in Destin was a four bedroom, gulf front residence in Villa Coyaba at $2 million. A four bedroom penthouse in the non rental complex of One Beach Club Drive in the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort was the highest priced condo to sell in Miramar Beach at $2.25 million.
