SANTA ROSA BEACH, FL, December 12, 2016 — Washington County Florida contains waterfalls, aquifer springs, and a wolf preserve, and the county wants the public to know about them. Panhandle based 30A Television (www.30a.tv) aims to help with a series of commercials and area highlights, for distribution online and in various cable networks.
Washington County is a haven for kayakers and paddle board enthusiasts, especially with a new paddle trail being worked on. Named after George Washington, the area was first settled by those seeking both economic and political freedoms in this frontier land of vast timber and mineral resources. Inland waterway transportation brought about heavy river settlements. The arrival of railroads in the late 1800’s boosted economic, social and political developments. Vernon, the geographical center of the county, derives its name from George Washington’s Virginia home, Mt. Vernon.
“We are delighted to be working with 30ATV to showcase the amazing amenities Washington County has to offer,” said Heather Lopez, WCTDC Director.
The first set of commercials will air in December 2016 through 2017 beginning with a general overview followed by individual area location spotlights.
30A TV broadcasts on cable to nine counties in North West Florida, nationally on ROKU and AMAZON FIRE TV. For more information on 30a TV, please visit: www.30a.tv
