SANTA ROSA BEACH, Fla— Punches are thrown between a gas station clerk and a customer and it’s all caught on camera. Now, one Fort Walton Beach man is behind bars.

Just after 1 o’clock on October 18th deputies responded to a 911 hang up at the Texaco on East County Highway 30a. The victim told deputies that a Hispanic male came into the store and hit him and then fled the scene in a white Jeep. Deputies caught up with the suspect, later identified as Domingo Hernandez, who admitted to being in the store, but not to the battery.

Video footage from inside the store showed the entire encounter between Hernandez and the victim. Hernandez enters the store and throws his hands up at the victim. The victim then grabs the phone and Hernandez heads towards the door. As the victim goes around the counter and the male comes back towards him both are face to face arguing when the Hernandez shoves the victim. They both begin to fight, throwing punches at each other.

After reviewing the video Domingo Hernandez, 39, was placed under arrest for battery and driving with no valid license. He was transported and booked into the Walton County Jail.
