723 Whiskey Bravo continues to raise funds with donations of stuffed animal Riley, the therapy dog …Benefits the Pierce Family Children’s Advocacy Center

Seagrove Beach, FL (September 18, 2018)…723 Whiskey Bravo owners, Skip and Victoria Moore, along with their staff, announced that they have raised  $44,869 in the past three years to benefit the Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center’s (ECCAC) Pierce Family Children’s Center in Defuniak Springs.

They achieved this by collecting guest donations of $20 or more for the stuffed animal Riley therapy dogs. As well, included in the funds collected, the Moores sponsored a room at the DeFuniak Springs center. The Riley stuffed animal dog donations will continue at 723 Whiskey Bravo, located on Scenic Highway 30-A in Seagrove Beach.

The real Riley, a 12-year old Maltese dog, is a registered AKC Therapy Dog who is on the “staff” of ECCAC and about to retire from active service. He earned his American Kennel Club credentials by completing over 400 therapy visits with the kids at the Center dealing with abusive situations. ECCAC has eight other therapy dogs at their center with an avid kids’ following.

“It has been our pleasure to help ECCAC, and to have the endearing look-alike Riley stuffed animals on our tables at the restaurant. Our customers are engaged and have generously supported this concept. And, most importantly, this on-going campaign helps the kids,” commented the community minded Moore’s.

ECCAC’s mission is to prevent child abuse and neglect, protect children in Okaloosa and Walton Counties and restore the lives and futures of these impacted children. Their child-friendly centers house a multidisciplinary team of child protection personnel, prosecutors, law enforcement, DCF, therapists, ECCAC staff and volunteers. The 501-C-3 non-profit organization has provided services at no cost to over 12,000 children in the past 18 years.
