The sun is out, the air is warm and the crowds are away for the month of May! It’s the perfect time for spending the day with family and friends, creating memories at The HUB. On Mother’s Day, Sunday May 21st, come out for a full day of family fun with drink specials, complimentary massages and a paint party.

The HUB is excited to offer a “Paint & Party” hosted by Katie Hughes of Eye Catchers Artworks on Mother’s Day.  It’s a unique, fun opportunity to create your own work of art under the instruction of an experienced artist! Katie is a self-taught artist based out of nearby Enterprise, AL and started Eye Catchers Artwork 4 years ago. She also hosts private paint parties and showcases and sells large artworks at local art shows. The Paint & Party is $35 / person, open to everyone and sign up is available on The HUB Facebook event page.  The party will be held inside the covered pavilion with all supplies included. Dads and kiddos can enjoy sports on the Jumbotron, cornhole games on the lawn or rent a bike from Salt Air 30A next door and go for a ride while the ladies Paint & Party!

The Mile Marker Bar and Dion’s Bar will feature half price mimosas all day as well as the regular Happy Hour from 4-6pm. While at The HUB be sure to stroll through The Shops at The HUB. The shops offer a fantastic array of gift ideas for all the Moms: home décor, boutique clothing, artwork, artisan jewelry, sunglasses, designer shoes and gift certificates. The Mermaids of 30a shop will even have a free gift for Moms on Mother’s Day!

The day wouldn’t be complete without a bit of pampering! VIVO Salon and Spa will be onsite at with therapists offering complimentary mini massages for the Moms. They also operate Polished 30a nail salon and will soon open VESI Finnish Sauna & Spa in The Shops at The HUB. Finish up the day with dinner from one of the 6 restaurants on property, a few more mimosas and a family movie on the Jumbotron under the stars at 7pm.

The HUB is a festive gathering place for friends and families to eat, drink, shop, play and relax. Their restaurants and bar feature everything you can dream of from burgers to seafood, fried chicken, pizza, healthy wraps, BBQ, ice cream and cocktail concoctions. The restaurants are situated around a lawn and patio area with comfortable seating, fireplaces, event stage, and jumbotron. You’ll find plenty of live music concerts and other entertainment such as sports or movies on the big screen. There’s something happening every night. The Hub is located on the south side of Scenic 30A at WaterSound Beach between Seagrove Beach and Alys Beach. You can’t miss it – the greatest backyard party of all time is going on now.
