2021 is off to an exciting start for the Forgotten Coast real estate market with pending sales up in most of the key communities of Apalachicola, Cape San Blas/Indian Pass, Carrabelle, Mexico Beach/St. Joe Beach, Port St. Joe and St. George Island during January. There were 37 properties closed last month, and 114 properties are currently under contract. Mexico Beach/St. Joe Beach had the highest number of transactions for the month with 9 closings. Cape San Blas had the highest priced property to sell with a home closing at 1.6 million.
