March brought more increase in residential real estate sales in most of the key communities of Apalachicola, Cape San Blas/Indian Pass, Carrabelle, Mexico Beach/St. Joe Beach, Port St. Joe, and St. George Island and a burst of activity in new contracts. There were 67 properties closed during the month with 145 properties are currently under contract. Cape San Blas had the highest number of transactions for the month with 17 closings while St. George Island had the highest priced property to sell with a gulf front home in Pelican Beach Village closing at $2.499 million.
