Rags to Riches Regatta

A beloved annual tradition in honor of Independence Day, the Rags to Riches Regatta is Hobie Cat race from Grayton Beach to Seagrove Beach with teams of two on 16’ boats. One of the most colorful days to be at the beach, gather to cheer on your favorite boats amongst the breathtaking background of emerald water and white sand. Arrive early to reserve your spot as the beach, the Captain’s meeting is scheduled for 11AM with the race beginning shortly after.

Enjoy classic family fun at the annual 4^th of July Parade in the eclectic Grayton Beach community! Line-up on Hotz Avenue begins at 8AM next to the The Red Bar. While the traditional parade is not scheduled, Seaside has a fantastic 4^th of July celebration in store for beachgoers with a whole day of patriotic activities in Central Square. Storefronts will be decorated in red, white, and blue, and there will be second-line-style patriotic music performances around town throughout the day, with a special performance by the Rep Theatre. Stay around for the grand finale with the largest fireworks shows not only in Seaside but along the entire Gulf Coast.
