September was an active month for real estate sales in the key communities of Apalachicola, Cape San Blas/Indian Pass, Carrabelle, Mexico Beach/St. Joe Beach, Port St. Joe, and St. George Island. There were 58 properties closed during the month with 99 properties currently under contract. Mexico Beach/St. Joe Beach and St. George Island tied for the highest number of transactions with 14 closings each while St, George Island had the highest priced property to sell, a gulf front home closing at $2.74 million.
