58th Annual Florida Seafood Festival Returns to Historic Apalachicola

Known as Florida’s Oldest Maritime Event, the beloved Florida Seafood Festival returns to Apalachicola’s Battery Park on November 5th and 6th with activities scheduled from 10:00am to 10:30pm each day. Perfect for all ages, the festival features delicious seafood harvested primarily from the Apalachicola Bay area, arts and crafts exhibits, live music, and more.

Many favorite events are featured this year including the Oyster Eating and Oyster Shucking contest, Blue Crab Races, a photo contest, a parade, the 5K Redfish Run, the traditional Blessing of the Fleet, and much more. Spend the weekend celebrating under the shady oaks of Battery Park with family and friends at this quintessential Florida festival.

NOVEMBER 5TH

10:00 am – Park Opens (No Admission Charge)

3:00 pm – 7:45 pm – Christian Musical Entertainment

4:00 pm – Blessing of the Fleet

4:15 pm – Arrival of King Retsyo & Miss Florida Seafood

4:30 pm – Opening Ceremonies

8:30 pm – Headliner Christian Entertainer

10:30 pm – Park Closes


NOVEMBER 6TH

7:00 am – Registration for Redfish Run

8:00 am – Start of Redfish Run

10:00 am – Gates Open ($5.00 admission, children under 12 free)

10:00 am – Parade Starts (Hwy 98)

1:00-5:00 pm – Blue Crab Races (at the top of each hour, children under 12)

1:00 pm – Oyster Shucking Contest

1:15 pm – Oyster Eating Contest

3:00 pm – 7:00pm – Musical Entertainment (Ashley Morgan Band, Kylie Parker)

8:30 pm – Headliner Entertainer (Drew Parker)

11:00 pm – Park Closes
