“We are thankful for the support of our community and local businesses like Clay 30A who allow us to hold events like the annual Tea,” Amy Walsh, founder of Fore Her, said. “This year marks the 8th Annual Tea; however, it is the second year Clay has been gracious enough to allow us to use their beautiful setting to help breast cancer patients in Northwest Florida.”

Guests will enjoy a complimentary glass of Good Clean Wine Rose, cookies and tea in the garden, along with a silent auction, live music and photo booth. Hats are encouraged for a chance to win the “Best Hat” prize. Tickets are $50 per person and $45 for breast cancer survivors. Gather your friends and join Fore Her for this signature fundraiser. “Clay is very happy to host the Tea Fore Her again this year. We love supporting this cause as many of its members are wonderful, personal friends of ours,” Anna Lisa Daniel, owner of Clay 30A, said. “We love that Fore Her offers financial assistance to those who are battling breast cancer as it takes some of the burden off the patients so they can focus on healing. We look forward to a beautiful afternoon in the garden.”

Founded by Amy Walsh after her mother and aunt lost their battle with breast cancer, Fore Her was initially conceived as an annual golf benefit to assist local women battling breast cancer with the financial burden of the disease, but as the need grew, the nonprofit expanded to host three annual events to raise funds to continue to support those affected in Northwest Florida. Funds raised are used to provide temporary assistance with bills such as mortgage or rent payments, utilities or helping pay for auto repairs so patients can get to treatments.

Fore Her offers resources, hope, compassion and education for all who are affected by breast cancer. Find additional information about volunteering, available resources, and how you can help, visit ForeHer.org.
