Siesta Key was rated the #1 best beach in Florida by Trip advisor in 2015 and 2017 and rated #5 on the best beaches in the world. This beach boasts some of the whitest and finest sand you will ever see in the world. The sand is described as some to seem like flour and this sand stays cool on your feet, even in the summer months. 

Along with great sand is also a great shoreline. There is plenty of room for everyone and the water stays shallow longer, making this a one of the best beaches in Florida for kids.

2. Clearwater Beach

This fun family friendly beach is consistently in the top when talking about the best beach in Florida. The fishing pier, the aquarium, and frequent entertainers keep Florida beach goers entertained for days and you will want to come back for more. 

3. Miami Beach

Miami has one of the best beaches for party goers and families alike. On or off the beach there is always unique arts and entertainment as well as a deep culture fun atmosphere. 

4. Destin Beach

Destin consistently ranks in the top beaches in Florida on almost any list. With beautiful white sandy beaches, turquoise blue waters and family friendly activities it is no wonder why. And if you are driving into Florida then Destin is one of the first places you are sure to stop at as it is within easier traveling distance for most of the country. 

5. Fort Lauderdale 

Fort Lauderdale is perfect for those looking for beautiful brown sand and crystal blue water. This beach is just north of Miami and has a great laid back atmosphere that gives you a similar experience to that of the Miami Beach area but with a smaller crowd. 

6. Sanibel Island

Just a short drive from Fort Myers, this popular island is full of family activities and beautiful beaches. This beach is known for its colorful seashells, beautiful lighthouses, and family friendly atmosphere. 

7. Amelia Island

8. Fort Myers Beach

Fort Myers Beach is most known for its many different water sports and white sandy beaches. With seven miles of ideal waterfront, vacation rentals, and hotels this great little area is quickly becoming one of the most popular beaches in Florida. 

9. Key West

Diving, sunbathing, family activities and picture perfect beaches are what the Florida Keys are known for. While there are many different beaches in this area this is one of the top visited areas in the state and you will not be disappointed. 

10. Naples

Naples hosts a large array of pristine beaches to choose from. We could not choose one beach as they are all beautiful white sandy beaches that offer amazing views, family friendly activities, and possibly even some wildlife sightings.
