THIS WEEKEND: Beloved Fall Film Fest Returns to Watercolor – Nov 4-5

Entering its 16th year, the Telluride MountainFilm on Tour returns to WaterColor Inn & Resort’s Marina Park outdoor amphitheater November 4-5. The festival showcases a selection of films from the International Film Festival and furthers the MountainFilm mission of exploring cultures, preserving environments and promoting adventure. This year’s film selections cover a wide range of topics, from an epic ski journey across Russia in “The Great Siberian Traverse” to the cultural evolution of Bolivia’s female wrestlers in “The Wrestling Cholita.” “MountainFilm has been a vital component of our events calendar for the past 15 years,” said Andrew Czarnecki, managing director of resort operations for St. Joe Club & Resorts. “The support of this community and film enthusiasts alike make the festival stronger each year. We look forward to continuing this tradition for many more years to come.” Delta Air Lines and Visit South Walton are premier sponsors of the annual outdoor festival, which will once again incorporate Kidz Kino, a mini-festival for attendees ages 6-12 that features kid-friendly films at the WaterColor BoatHouse. Those who stay at the WaterColor Inn & Resort during MountainFilm on Tour can take advantage of a festival lodging package ($505 per night), which includes two nights in a beachfront guest room at the Inn, as well as two complimentary tickets to both nights of the event. Gates open at 6 p.m. with films beginning at 7 p.m. Tickets are now available online at mountainfilmfl.com. Advance tickets are $30 per day or $50 for a two-day weekend pass. Tickets purchased at the gate are $35 per day or $60 for a two-day weekend pass, based on availability. Food, beer, and wine will also be available for purchase at the festival. Kidz Kino day passes may be purchased for $30 in advance or $35 at the door. Parents must be present to sign their children in and out of the BoatHouse. For more information on this new offering, interested parties may call 850.534.5975. Film nights usually sell out, so grab your tickets soon. See you out there! Read More
