Walton County, Fla— It was just another trip to the craft store for Walton County Sheriff’s Office Deputies buying another weeks worth of summer camp supplies. That is, until they got to the register.Lieutenant Robert Gray and Sergeant TJ Brooks were making their weekly stop at Michael’s Craft Store in Destin to buy crafts for the ongoing summer camp put on by WCSO when they were taken aback by a kind gesture. The total cost of the crafts was more than $125 total and had been completely paid for. The receipt was given to them along with a note that read:

“In memory of Bill Myers and the fallen in Dallas, just want to say thank you for all you do.”

All of us at the Walton County Sheriff’s Office are so appreciative of the kindness and outpouring of support from those in our community. Without you we are at a loss. We are committed to serving the people of Walton County along with all of our visitors. To the person who paid for this long list of supplies for the children of our county… we thank you.
