La Crema Tapas and Chocolate is a happening place and the wait to get in can sometimes be longer than desired. So, when new owners Rick and Christy Spell purchased the restaurant, they jumped at the opportunity to expand the space.
The Spell Restaurant Group is expected to begin work on the new space soon.
Inspired by the tapas and chocolate shops of Madrid and Barcelona, La Crema is nestled away in a quaint little groove on the south side of Scenic Highway 30-A in Rosemary Beach. La Crema Tapas & Chocolate was honored by Florida Travel+Life magazine as one of the best places to get your chocolate fix.
The long-term vision is to expand the kitchen in the existing space and connect it to the new space formerly occupied by Tapestry.
The indoor dining space will also feature a wine bar. The Spell’s said their main goal is to provide a more comfortable space for guests and to accommodate more people year round, but especially on busy summer nights.
