Welcome to The Village of Baytowne Wharf where the music rolls every Wednesday night from 7-9pm. Don't miss the weekly 2016 lineup in the events plaza in the heart of #SandestinFL.

OCT 5 | Forrest Williams: Local musician Forrest Williams passion for music began as a young child. Williams picked up his first guitar at the age of 14 and ever since has been playing and writing music. He grew up listening to a variety of genres including Rock, Blues, Country, and Folk music. Check out his most recent studio album "Gonna Take Love."

OCT 12 | Geoff McBride: Many may recognize his voice off the NBC television series "The Voice," as this powerhouse singer wowed the crowds. Although McBride's foundation is in soul music, his style covers a broad spectrum of genres including Pop, Rock, R&B to Gospel. McBride now calls the Florida Panhandle his home, since moving down to the area in 2006. With a rich vocal palate his influences include his father O'Neill McBride, Sam Cooke, Marvin Gaye, James Taylor, and Dave Matthews to name a few.

OCT 19 | Shades of Blue: Shades of Blue is a Jazz Funk Fusion of Blues and Motown based out of Destin/Fort Walton Beach. With a unique blend of saxophone, bass guitar, keyboard, organ, guitar, drums, and vocals this band combines the sounds of modern and contemporary jazz. From 2011-2015 the band was nominated by the Destin Beachcomber Music Awards for Best R&B Soul Band. Some of their influences include Wayne Shorter, Marcus Miller, Billy Cobham, and Miles Davies.

OCT 26 | Heritage: This reggae/surfer rock band has gained a strong following, since inception in 2007. Heritage's soulful sounds creates an energetic environment that captivates and engages the crowd. With the release of their first debut album "Natural High," it was apparent the birth of a new sound of love and good vibrations soon escalated into regional exposure. They've headlined for hundreds of shows including Ballyhoo, ZZ Top, and Rebelution. Their name resembles who they are, Heritage, just like a root system of a tree reaches into the depths of the soil to draw up nutrients, are similar to people who create and share life through music, we all have roots that connect us to one another.

The Village of Baytowne Wharf Wednesday Night Concerts Series takes place throughout the year in Sandestin, FL. Bring your chairs and blankets and enjoy the great live music under the stars in the events plaza in the heart of The Village. Free and open to public. 

The Village of Baytowne Wharf is the "heart and soul" of Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort and the gathering place for many locals and visitors along the Emerald Coast. Baytowne Wharf features restaurants, bars, shops, and family-friendly activities throughout the village. Sitting on the shore of the Choctawhatchee Bay, the area pieces together elements of an old fishing village and a New Orleans marketplace, making the atmosphere fun and relaxing.

Baytowne Wharf also features excellent dining such as Marina Bar & Grill situated directly on the marina overlooking the bay, Acme Oyster House, a world famous raw oyster bar, directly from the French Quarter in New Orleans, and Funky Blues Shack is adorned with great local folk-art and has lots of live music. Step into the bar at Marlin Grill for a cocktail or treat yourself to a steak and seafood dinner. Several delicious eateries throughout the village serve up seafood, burgers, asian and excellent Gulf coast cuisine.

The Village boardwalk is lined with kid-friendly activities like zip-lining, a rock climbing wall and an obstacle course. Plus there’s always lots of events happening year round, whether it’s an exciting New Years Eve party, concerts on the lawn, Sandestin Wine Festival, Baytowne Beer Festival or the yummy Sandestin Gumbo Festival.
