30A TV to air Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center telethon

Niceville and DeFuniak Springs, FL (November 5, 2016)…30A TV will air the 2nd Annual ECCAC Telethon broadcasting live on December 1, from 6 to 9 p.m. from 723 Whiskey Bravo in Seagrove Beach to benefit the Emerald Children’s Advocacy Centers (ECCAC) in Niceville and the Pierce Family Children’s Advocacy Center in DeFuniak Springs.
Local singer and celeb David Seering will be hosting the telethon. With the purpose of creating awareness and raising funds for ECCAC, the telethon will feature interviews with locals, entertainment, information about ECCAC and how you can make a difference. ECCAC’s board of directors will be on hand answering phones and taking donations. Also, 100% of Whiskey Bravo’s profits for the live broadcast day of the telethon will be donated to ECCAC. After the live telethon on December 1, it will continue to be re-broadcast periodically through February.
Viewers with Mediacom’s Ch 17 and Channel 8 Fairhope Communications can tune in. As well, the telethon will be streaming live on www.facebook.com/30atv. Offering information and entertainment, beach style, 30A TV reaches homes and businesses in its viewing area in 9 counties in Northwest Florida from Sandestin to Alligator Point and nationwide on Roku Web TV, Omnibox Networks, mobile devices and apps.

ECCAC’s mission is to prevent child abuse and neglect, protect children in Okaloosa and Walton Counties, and restore the lives and futures of these impacted children. The Center’s child-friendly facilities house a multidisciplinary team of child protection personnel, prosecutors, law enforcement, DCF, therapists, and ECCAC staff and volunteers. In the past 15 years, over 10,000 children have received more than 40,000 services to include mental health therapy, crisis intervention, referrals to other community providers, interviews and medicals. Services are provided at no cost by ECCAC, a 501-C-3 non-profit organization.
