Fifty-One, The “Big Game Benefit” to Raise Funds for The Arc of Walton County
Santa Rosa Beach, Fla. (January 30, 2017) – A group of local businesses recently announced they will host and sponsor Fifty-One, The “Big Game Benefit” on Sunday, February 5, at Marie’s Bistro, from 4:30 pm until the “big game” is over. Proceeds will benefit The Arc of Walton County.
Tickets are $20 each pre-sale online and $25 each at the door. Tickets include full buffet, 2 free drinks and a raffle ticket for fabulous giveaways. Attendees can also purchase a $27 all you can drink package during the event. Select menu items and specials will also be available during the event, as well as some specialty themed Bacardi cocktails for the game. Uber will also provide discounted transportation, for attendees that evening, using code #30ASB.
The Arc of Walton County provides supportive human services, within the community, for individuals with developmental disabilities, as well as their families. The Arc seeks to assist these individuals with being an active participant in their community through behavioral, academic and vocational training. The Arc also offers independent living and employment training for those seeking to actively contribute to their community.
“We’re so honored to host and be a part of this great event,” says Hanie Nasri, Owner, Marie’s Bistro. “Please bring your friends, purchase tickets and support The Arc. The funds raised will go directly towards providing a much needed, new AC unit for their facility.”
“We hope that everyone comes out for a great time on February 5th for our benefit at Marie’s Bistro,” shares Kim Lonas, Executive Director, The Arc of Walton County. “We have budgeted every year to replace our antiquated air conditioning units and every year we face funding cuts and it goes on the back burner. They currently make noise, are energy gobblers and inefficient, and drip all over the flooring. This will allow us to utilize our space in a more comfortable manner.”
