About 50 people attended the opening of Pilcher Park last week and were wowed by the gem of a park underneath the 331 bridge on the south shore of the Choctawhatchee Bay.

It’s the place to go for launching a boat or fishing along the rocks, on the docks, or on the 200-foot pier. Just about any species of saltwater fish can be caught at the park.
