WHAT: CALL FOR BARTENDERS! Battle at the Bar benefitting Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge
DESCRIPTION: The Gulf restaurant on Okaloosa Island is now officially accepting applications for bartenders to apply to compete in their Best Bartender Competition sponsored by Ketel One.
The Gulf will select 15 bartenders for this exciting craft cocktail competition using Ketel One spirits. Bartenders will try to win over a panel of judges with their unique concoctions and techniques, as well as have an opportunity to earn the “Fan Favorite” vote from attendees. First prize includes $300 cash plus a $250 bar tab at the Gulf, along with tickets to The Hangout’s 10th Annual Oyster Cook-Off and Craft Beer Weekend this November in Gulf Shores, Alabama.
A portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated to Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge to help fund their future location in Navarre. Bartenders interested in applying are requested to submit an application through The Gulf’s website by September 14, 2017.
There is no cost to apply to compete. More information will be available soon including event details, ticket sales and featured bartenders.
