Walton County, FL – Walton County Fire Rescue, the primary provider of Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and the largest fire suppression agency north of Choctawhatchee Bay in Walton County, announces the addition of Captain Ralph Everage as the department’s first Training Officer.
After receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Resource Management from Troy University, Captain Everage, 53, served as an Assistant Fire Chief at Crestview Fire Department for 26 years. “We are excited to welcome Captain Everage to the WCFR family,” says Fire Chief Russell Beaty. “He is a true representation of what we had in mind for the Training Officer role. Captain Everage is passionate about fire rescue, and he shares that passion with others through training.”
As the first Training Officer for Walton County Fire Rescue, Captain Ralph Everage will focus on creating an advanced training program that will not only improve overall performance but prepare WCFR employees to become leaders within their organization.
