The Sunday, Oct. 15 lead story about sexual harassment in the Okaloosa school system raises several points and questions.
First, there seems to be a great deal of corroborating evidence against the named individual, and yet this has continued for years.
Secondly, the superintendent feels forced to reach out to another system for an investigation. That fact alone is very troubling and seems to require more investigation itself.
Lastly, if the Okaloosa public school system cannot protect its teachers and other staff from a persistent sexual harasser, how are they able to protect their students?
