Eglin Air Force Base has announced one prescribed burn planned in tactical training areas G-20, G-21 and G22 on Saturday.

The burn will be 3,000 acres in the western portion of the reservation, east of Range Road 253, north of Range Road 660 and south of Range Road 213.

The smoke is expected to rise to 2,700 feet with transport winds predicted to be out of the east. Smoke impacts should be minimal in sensitive areas.
