Bay County sheriff’s deputies responding to a verbal disturbance find a mom who’s had just about enough of her 52-year-old live-at-home son. The woman reports she’s been arguing with her son and wants him out of the house.
“She could not explain what she and her son were arguing about but advised he does not pay any bills and is constantly pestering her by playing his music too loudly,” the deputy wrote. “She advised he has lived at the resident his entire life (52 years, apparently), therefore she is aware she would need to evict him.”
The deputy talks to the son, who says there was no arguing that day “and he truly does not know why she called.” A grandson, who was also there, “advised he did not witness or hear any type of altercation.”
The deputy cannot see any signs of a disturbance of damaged property.
“I recommended that the son make every attempt to keep the peace between him and (his mother).”
