An SUV was eastbound on Harbor Boulevard at a high rate of speed around 11 p.m. when it hit a light pole, partially ejecting the driver, 24-year-old Brittany Torres of Santa Rosa Beach, deputies wrote in a news release. Torres was taken to the Destin Emergency Room where she was pronounced dead.
