In Spanish education news, students Micah Wyn and Zach Baltazar fulfilled membership requirements for induction into the Sociedad Honoraria Hispanica: Caballeros del Noroeste de la Florida of Rocky Bay Christian School, an honor society.

As the Cox Communications/Okaloosa Schools Academic Tournament continues, Collegiate High School came out strong against Baker School, 290-10.
Capt. Gabe Seabrook engineered the victory with Kai Hall, Kasey Rigby, Peyton Simms, Jackson Freeman, under Coach De Cook.
Despite defeat, Baker’s Capt. Alby Clendennin valiantly led Dakota Messier-Hensz, Ethan Nunley, Zach Childs, Colton Farris, Jurnee French, under Coach Stacy Burlison.
Niceville High School bettered Fort Walton Beach High School in Match 7 with a score of 210-140.
Coach Justin Reichard fielded Capt. William Rood, Ryan Erickson, Josh Mills, Liam Ordner and Ella Joslin.
Coaches Cyndi Stone and Maj. Gerald Patton brought Capt. James Beyer, Alexsander Jones, Divon Silver, Jonathan Allen and Josie Shelton.

The Niceville High School CyberPatriot Team placed second in state of the platinum division at the 2017-18 CyberPatriot competition, with team members Ben Baltz, Patrick Womack, Kyle Mercer, Bailey Howes, Parker Chojnowski, and Coach Scott Huerkamp.
CyberPatriot is a national youth competition that puts teams of high school and middle school students in the position of newly hired IT professionals tasked with managing the network of a small company.
