CAPE CANAVERAL — The NASA spacecraft that gave us close-ups of Pluto has set a record for the farthest photos ever taken. In December — while 3.79 billion miles (6.12 billion kilometers) from Earth — the New Horizons spacecraft snapped a picture of a star cluster. Donation to help fund Twin Oaks lighting

On Feb. 8 the All Sports Association donated $8,500 to the Niceville Football Little League and Emerald Coast United soccer club.The funds will be used to install lights at Twin Oaks Recreation Area in Niceville to expand opportunities for many youth sports leagues throughout the year.The city of Niceville will provide in-kind services and match funds raised by our community.
