(Nashville, Tennessee…) – April 25, 2018 – The inaugural SandJam Presented by Pepsi adult-alternative music festival is set to rock with some of the biggest names in music right on the sand at M.B. Miller Pier in beautiful Panama City Beach April 26-28, 2018. Incubus, Sublime with Rome, Fitz and the Tantrums and 23 additional acts are scheduled to hit the stage over the three days.
“This is unique, in that our two huge stages are set right in the sand,” said SandJam Executive Producer Rendy Lovelady. “What’s better than listening to your favorite band right on the beach?”
Over 700 people have been working diligently to transform the M.B. Miller Pier area into a music venue. Over 800 panels of DuraDeck, the same material used by the military to build temporary roads, have been placed on the sand to accommodate semi trucks, trailers and other heavy equipment moving gear, staging, sound and lights into place.
A massive fireworks display is planned following Incubus’ headline performance Saturday night. The exhibition will include a soundtrack as a memoriam to artists who have passed away over the last year such as Tom Petty, Prince, Gregg Allman, Chris Cornell, Glenn Frey, Dolores O’Riordan of The Cranberries, Chuck Berry, David Bowie and Lincoln Park’s Chester Bennington.
The SandJam Presented by Pepsi free mobile app is currently available for both Android and iOS platforms. The intuitive app gives Jammers access to the lineup, performance times, maps, social interaction and a host of vital Festival information.
General Admission tickets are good for all three days and are $149 now and $189 at the gate. Military tickets remain at $129 but are limited in number. VIP tickets – currently $359 and $439 at the gate – include access to the area directly in front of the stage, exclusive entry line to festival grounds, free draft beer, air-conditioned restrooms and more.
Kaleo, St. Lucia and Capital Cities will follow the SandJam Fest headliners, and All Time Low, Citizen Cope, Best Coast, Gin Blossoms, Better Than Ezra, The Record Company, The Wild Feathers, Marc Scibilia, Low Cut Connie, Bay Ledges, Walden, Ida Mae, The New Respects, Ruen Brothers, Kirstie Lovelady, Safe To Say, MYFEVER, The Western Sons, South of Heaven and Gray Tones have all been confirmed to perform.
Cabanas offering gulf front views and strategic stage views are also available. The very limited Cabanas accommodate up to 20people and include a backstage path/walkway, four drinks per day and free draft beer, two parking passes, personalized staff and much more. Fans interested in the Cabanas may inquire here. Gates will open at 4 p.m. on Thursday, April 26, and music will begin at 5:15 p.m. Friday and Saturday gates will open at 1 p.m. with music starting at 2 p.m.
