South Walton Fire District Promotes 9 New Officers

(Santa Rosa Beach) – History was made this morning June 4, 2018 at the SWFD Headquarters as nine personnel were promoted to the ranks of District Chief, Lieutenant and Sergeants, respectively.

Nearly eighty family members, friends, SWFD Fire Board Commissioners, SWFD staff and crews were all on hand as Fire Chief Rick Talbert commissioned these nine officers.

Family members then officially “pinned” badges/collar brass onto each new officer’s uniform. What a proud moment for all!

District Chiefs – Brian Hughes, Daniel LaTour and Glen Kuehner

Lieutenants – Jimmy White, Chris Powell and John Adams

Sergeants- Jason Durko, Luke Lewis and Matt Cramer
