Preserving South Walton, Inc., seeks Properties for Dislocated Families
Santa Rosa Beach Florida: Today Preserving South Walton Inc., (PSW, Inc.) – a non-profit generally geared towards land preservation, responsible development, and education – has shifted those gears to help individuals impacted by Michael.
According to Wes Herndon, President and Executive Director of PSW, Inc.: “As we are all aware, a lot of our neighbors are displaced and have had their lives disrupted beyond measure. In addition to gathering necessary items to be delivered via various disaster relief trips, we are attempting to coordinate housing for displaced families. We have a growing list including many families with and/or are expecting children. It breaks your heart to know so many are literally homeless right now.”
PSW Inc. currently has a need for property owners, managers, realtors, or anyone else who would be willing to donate use of their vacant properties to assist these families. Per Mr. Herndon, “If they offer reduced or free rent for their properties through us it would provide them (property owners) with a tax deduction since we are a 501(3)c nonprofit.”
