The Henderson Resort and Spa Announces Art Wave Event

A Showcase of Local Artists benefiting South Walton Artificial Reef Association

 On Thursday, January 10, 2019, The Henderson Resort and Spa will host Art Wave, an art exhibition dedicated to celebrating local artists who have art displayed throughout the resort, as well as new pieces from their latest collections.

From 6-9 p.m., event goers will have the opportunity to view live paintings and mingle with the featured artists, including Jeff Waldorff, John Maher, Justin Gaffrey, Lori Drew, Mary Hong, Melissa Mercer Brown, Tony Mennillo, and Velia Lala, in the Crystal Ballroom of The Henderson. There will be light bites, refreshments, and a silent auction held throughout the evening. Select pieces from each artist will also be available for purchase. Guests will also enjoy music by DJ 30A, complimentary valet, and a photo booth provided by Epic Photo Co.

100% of the money raised through ticket sales and auction proceeds will benefit the South Walton Artificial Reef Association (SWARA), a non-profit aimed at the construction, deployment, and monitoring of permitted artificial reefs in Walton County’s Gulf of Mexico coastal waters in order to benefit the underwater habitat and ecosystem.
