Fore Her Announces Date for Fifth Annual Tea Fore Her Fundraiser

Santa Rosa Beach — Local non-profit, Fore Her, will host it’s Fifth Annual Tea Fore Her fundraiser on April 6 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Vue on 30a. Guests are encouraged to dress up and grab a friend for an afternoon of tea, lunch, decadent desserts and champagne in support of Fore Her’s mission to help women battling breast cancer.

The event, presented by Platinum Pink Sponsor, Pizza by the Sea, will feature a silent auction, raffle and photo booth by 30A Life Photography. Attendees will enjoy a light lunch and complimentary glass of champagne along with the beautiful setting at The Vue on 30a. Guests are encouraged to dress the part with festive hats to compete for the best hat award. Hats will be judged by Amy Giles of Wardrobe Made Simple and the winner will receive a gift certificate for a styling session. Tickets to attend Tea Fore Her are $50 each or $45 for breast cancer survivors.

Fore Her works to provide financial support to women diagnosed with breast cancer in Northwest Florida. Founded by Amy Walsh in memory of her mother and aunt who lost their battles with breast cancer, Fore Her seeks to relieve some of the burden associated with breast cancer by providing financial assistance that can be used to pay for a medical expenses, a mortgage, car or utilities bill.

“I know firsthand that battling breast cancer takes a toll on an entire family,” Walsh said. “My family greatly appreciated the generous emotional and monetary support we had from family, friends and our church.”

Founded by Amy Walsh after her mother and aunt lost their battle with breast cancer, Fore Her was initially conceived as an annual golf benefit to assist local battlers of breast cancer with the financial burden of the disease, but as the need grew, the nonprofit expanded to host two annual events to raise funds to continue to support those affected in Northwest Florida.
