For years, women at Bethel Village’s recovery program have shared their stories of trials and triumph through personal testimonies, televised interviews and more. On May 17, the women will share their history of addiction, faith and more at Panama City Rescue Mission’s inaugural “The Bethel Art Project: See Her Story Exhibit.”
The ladies in the program will auction off art pieces they created throughout their journeys through the recovery program. Also, guests will have the opportunity to hear some of the women’s testimonials during the event.
‘Our clients have been working on art pieces and jewelry for a few months now, as they plan to auction off their art projects,” said Shawnte Williams, Chief Development Officer. “The mission is so happy to see their work come to life throughout the process.”
All proceeds collected from the event will support operational costs at Bethel Village.
“We encourage everyone to come out and see what Bethel Village is all about,” she said. “We’re about transformation, and now the community will get to witness transformations through storytelling and art.”
Panama City Rescue Mission’s inaugural The Bethel Art Project: See Her Story Art Exhibit will be May 17th at 6 p.m. at Amavida Coffee Roasters, Rosemary Beach, Fla. Art auction will conclude at 8 p.m.
