Forgotten Coast Sea Turtle Festival | June 30th
Port St. Joe, Florida
Village Drive & George Core Park
11 AM – 4 PM
Don’t miss the annual Forgotten Coast Sea Turtle Festival on June 30th! Hosted by the Florida Coastal Conservancy, this event promises to be both fun and educational for the whole family. Learn about this important species and the coastal habitat they call home.
There will be Turtle Talks every hour from 12 to 3 PM. After learning about the sea turtles, stop by the Education & Conservation Booths to learn more about the effects of plastic waste on our ecosystem.
The festival serves as a fundraiser for the Coastal Conservancy and you can support the cause and help bring awareness to the sea turtles by bidding on items in the silent auction!
Kids will enjoy the Gulf Specimen Sea Mobile Aquarium with Touch Tanks, sand sculpting demos, and other fun activities. When you’re ready to relax, wander through booths of arts and crafts vendors, many of whom feature sea turtles in their work. Grab lunch from one of the various food trucks and sip on Cloe’s Magic Lemonade while listening to live music at the Bayview Pavilion.
