April 2020 real estate sales in the Forgotten Coast market were slowed by the coronavirus pandemic but not stalled. There were 29 single family homes closed and 50 pending or contingent properties across the key communities of Apalachicola, Cape San Blas/Indian Pass, Carrabelle, Mexico Beach/St. Joe Beach, Port St. Joe and St. George Island. Mexico Beach/St. Joe Beach had the highest number of closings for the month while the highest priced property to sell during April was a bay front home in the Schooner Landing community on St. George Island.
