SKYWHEEL PANAMA CITY BEACH, Panama City Beach, FL, June 2, 2020 – For nearly three months during this closure, SkyWheel Panama City Beach has been closely monitoring the conditions of COVID-19, while following the guidance from national, state and local authorities. With the State of Florida’s approval, SkyWheel Panama City Beach is now able to reopen.

@SkyWheel Panama City Beach will be reopening to the public with limited hours on June 3, 2020. #SkyWheel Panama City Beach is committed to the safety of their guests and crew. “We want to make sure we provide an environment for both our crew and our guests to feel comfortable at this time,” said Alex Reed, General Manager of SkyWheel Panama City Beach. “It is our mission to ensure we create a balance of safety and fun for our entire venue, which we feel our new procedures cover.” All areas of the venue will be open to the public, with the exception of the SkyTrail Ropes Course. “In order to follow our new procedures for safety, it would be nearly impossible to operate the ropes course safety,” Reed stated. “We would rather keep this area of the venue closed until we can ensure we can operate safely.” In their effort to keep their guests and crew safe, SkyWheel Panama City Beach has implemented the following guidelines: • All Crew Members will be screened prior to work including temperature and wellness checks. • Hand Sanitizers have been added throughout the venue in key locations where crew or guests frequent. • All Crew Members will be issued and required to wear facemasks while working. • Social distancing measures have been implemented in the ticket line and queue area, requiring 6’ distance between all groups. As a reminder, strangers never share a gondola; guests enjoy their flight with their own party. • All Crew Members must adhere to social distancing. Clock in, breaks and other operating procedures have been updated to allow social distancing and enhance sanitation. • Contactless check-in is provided. Guests are encouraged to purchase their tickets online in advance. • A strict sanitation schedule will be maintained throughout the entire venue. This includes measures such as cleaning and sanitizing railings and gates every hour. SkyWheel Panama City Beach is committed to doing everything they can to create a fun and welcoming environment for their guests. “We can’t wait to see our guests again,” said Melissa Crawford, Assistant Manager of SkyWheel Panama City Beach, “We all work in the hospitality industry, and this has been a long couple of months for us not to interact with people, but as always, we want to make sure we are following our guidelines and keeping everyone safe in the process. ” ABOUT SKYWHEEL PANAMA CITY BEACH SkyWheel® Panama City Beach opened in September 2018.
