July was a steady month for real estate sales on the Forgotten Coast with 74 single family homes closed and 114 pending or contingent properties across the key communities of Apalachicola, Cape San Blas/Indian Pass, Carrabelle, Mexico Beach/St. Joe Beach, Port St. Joe and St. George Island. St. George Island had the highest number of transactions for the month with 20 closings and was also the location of the highest priced property to sell during July with a custom beachfront home in Chateau De Lagrange closing at $2.45 million.
