August 2020 was yet another HOT month for the 30A beaches real estate market with 237 properties closed and 247 new contracts for homes and condos combined. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Beach Properties of Florida recorded nearly $89 million in sales volume and 77 transactions sides for the 30A beaches market segment. The company recorded over $109 million in sales volume across Walton and Okaloosa counties.

A  new construction 8 bedroom Gulf front home with over 7,000 square feet in Seacrest was the highest priced property to sell during August at $8.6 million. This exquisite property offered a complete walled perimeter with a Gulf front swimming pool and luxurious finishes throughout.

The highest priced condo sold was a new construction 5 bedroom residence with nearly 6,000 square feet in Rosemary Beach at $4.5 million.
