October was another outstanding month for the Destin and Miramar Beach real estate markets with 265 properties closed and 241 new contracts for homes and condos combined. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Beach Properties of Florida recorded nearly $90 million in sales volume across Walton and Okaloosa counties.
A canal front five bedroom home on Holiday Isle was the highest priced property to sell during October in Destin at $2.45 million while the highest priced property to close in Miramar Beach was a five bedroom estate in the Burnt Pine subdivision of the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort at $2.82 million.
The highest priced condo sold in Destin was a gulf front four bedroom in The Dunes at Crystal Beach for $1.437 million. A four bedroom gulf front condo in One Beach Club Drive in the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort was the top sale in Miramar Beach at $3 million.
