October was another great month for the Forgotten Coast real estate market with 83 single family homes closed and 104 pending or contingent properties across the key communities of Apalachicola, Cape San Blas/Indian Pass, Carrabelle, Mexico Beach/St. Joe Beach, Port St. Joe and St. George Island. St. George Island had the highest number of transactions for the month with 21 closings and the highest priced property to sell with a six bedroom beachfront home in the St. George Plantation closing at $2 million.
