The final month of 2020 for the Destin and Miramar Beach real estate markets was reflective of current trends with consistent sales and activity. 249 properties closed and 164 new contracts were recorded for homes and condos combined. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Beach Properties of Florida recorded over $136 million in sales volume across Walton and Okaloosa counties.

A gulf front four bedroom home in the Dunes of Destin was the highest priced property to sell during December in Destin at $2.95 million while the highest priced property to close in Miramar Beach was a gulf front three bedroom estate in Four Mile Village at $5.75 million.

The highest priced condo sold in Destin was a bay front three bedroom in One Water Place at Kelly Plantation for $1.45 million. A gulf front four bedroom residence in Southwinds II in the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort was the top sale in Miramar Beach at $1.725 million.
