2020 ended on a high note in the Forgotten Coast real estate market with 62 single family homes closed and 85 pending or contingent properties across the key communities of Apalachicola, Cape San Blas/Indian Pass, Carrabelle, Mexico Beach/St. Joe Beach, Port St. Joe and St. George Island during December. Mexico Beach/St. Joe Beach had the highest number of transactions for the month with 19 closings. St. George Island and Cape San Blas tied for the highest priced property to sell with a home closing at 1.65 million in each location.
