January kicked off the start of an exciting new year for the 30A Beaches real estate market with a surge of activity across all categories! 140 properties closed and 202 new contracts (up from 131 in December) were secured for homes and condos combined. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Beach Properties of Florida had nearly $57 million in sales volume and 53 transaction sides for the 30A Beaches market during January. The company recorded over $80 million in sales volume across Walton and Okaloosa counties for the month.

A five bedroom gulf front Tuscan-style villa in the gated community of Paradise by the Sea was the highest single family home to sell at $12 million.

The highest priced condo sold was a four bedroom penthouse unit in the gulf front development Bella Vita in Blue Mountain Beach at $3.15 million.
