January started off with a bang for the Panama City Beach real estate market with surge of activity in pending sales! 225 condos and homes closed and 163 new contracts (up from 99 in December) were secured during January. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Beach Properties of Florida earned over $14 million in sales volume with 38 transaction sides in the Panama City Beach market and over $20 million in sales volume overall in Bay County.

The highest priced condo closed was gulf front three bedroom in Hidden Dunes Condo at $750,000.

The highest priced single family home to sell was a gulf front six bedroom home with a private pool in Bid A Wee Beach.
